Are you carnally minded or spiritual minded?
To be carnally minded, according to the Greek Lexicon, is going after strange flesh, immorality, the
corrupt nature of man, subject to filthy appetites and passions.
To be spiritually minded
is to seek the God kind of life, Zoe. This is only brought about by God’s mercy,
granting deliverance and freedom from all the distresses that are experienced
as a result of sin.
This is the Messianic
blessing that comes through the grace and mercy of God where the stresses of life caused by sin are removed. Hence, the message of salvation
is called the Gospel of peace, the peace He gives, the peace of God. It is the
peace that is only found in Christ. Do you know Him as your peace?
(John 14:27 AMP) Jesus said, “Peace I
leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I
give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My
perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength
for every challenge.]”
1 Peter 5:7 tells us that
it is by “casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all
your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest
affection, and watches over you very carefully]."
God is on your side. Trust Him to take care of your situation, your family, business, your church, or whatever your needs are. .
Partake of communion today giving all your cares to Jesus. He can handle both the big stuff and the small stuff if you will just give it over to Him.
